Hello Everyone,
I recently installed CDP and while using the distcp editor in HUE, I discovered that it only supports local cluster replication and not remote cluster.
I think this actually defeats the purpose of distcp as the main objective behind distcp was to enable cluster to cluster replication.
Is this feature already on the features list? If not, how can this be added? If implemented this will be a pretty useful feature as there won’t be a requirement for giving terminal access to users for running distcp.
Also, in case of HDP to CDP data replication, where the HDP side doesn’t have a cloudera manager running, It would be a useful web UI based interface for replicating data.
